I believe eyes say a lot about a person. When I approached fellow etsians about being featured in my blog, I was quite amazed at the response. The middle picture, which is a gorgeous ACEO done by 5erg , immediately struck me. It was like looking in the mirror and seeing my eye. Really beautiful but really interesting...it almost seems to be a sad eye. Maybe that means I need to smile more!
I'll just sit and think about it..............
Great title, and I seriously laughed outloud when I saw it and put it together with the image of my daughter!
ReplyDeleteThanks for including me!
anytime equivoque!!! her expression is absolutely priceless! lovely picture!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog...found you through an Etsy thread...LOVE those glasses! They remind me of my Grandmother :)
ReplyDeleteWhoa, if 5erg's painting looks like your eye, you must have quite the lookers :) Great features!
ReplyDeleteGreat article, nice to find myself in it too :D
ReplyDeleteThank you!
It is cool you picked up the hidden sadness from the ACEO. by the words of the model,
it's there! :)
I love this post! Thank you for sharing these.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right that the eyes say a lot about a person. My drawing professors often said when doing a portrait of a person to pay close attention to the eyes, get them wrong and it just won't look quite like the model.
What a wonderful blog...very soulful...
ReplyDeleteI'm a green eyed girl myself and even sent in a photo of my eye to 5erg....who knows...maybe that is mine. Sad? I hope not!

Nope, I looked it up and it's not my eye. Wish I could take credit for that, though!
